Rahul Dutta is a graduate of the National institute of Design, and has been working on his own as a professional consultant since 2002. He has been keenly interested in the Metaverse since he read ‘Snow Crash’ in 1997 and in 2006, he decided to do something about it. Trimensions was started in March 2007, and has been focusing on virtual worlds and related technologies since then. In 2008, Trimensions was selected as one of NASSCOM’s top 50 IT innovators, a feat repeated in 2009 as Goweb3D. A notable feat for a company that has never had more than 5 employees at a time.
